Letterpress printing mandates design to conform to its limitations. Rather than infinite typeface options when designing on a screen, you're limited to the options available in the drawers of a workshop. Sizes, weights, the condition of the type, and maybe even some missing vowels dictate design decisions. Manually set, kerned, inked, and printed, no two prints are the same.
